SEAFDEC 60th Anniversary Logo Design Contest

To celebrate SEAFDEC’s 60th Anniversary, the Secretariat is organizing a Logo Design Contest.
We invite everyone to participate and contribute creatively to this milestone celebration.

Logo design guidelines

• Should reflect sustainable fisheries development in Southeast Asia
• Should convey progress, regional cooperation, and 60-year milestone of SEAFDEC
• Should indicate “SEAFDEC 60^th Anniversary”
• Should have the SEAFDEC logo in the design. The SEAFDEC logo theme color is greenish blue color (Hex: #3c92b3, CMYK: 75, 30, 20, 0, RGB: 60, 146, 179). Image files are downloadable here
• Should be in digital vector format (e.g. EPS, AI, or CDR)

Eligibility

• Open to the nationals of the SEAFDEC Member Countries (e.g. Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam)
• Students, professionals, designers, and interested individuals are welcome to participate
• Each participant can submit only one logo design (In case of multiple logo submissions from the same participant, only the first submission will be accepted for consideration.)

Criteria for judging

• The submitted logo design will be pre-screened by considering practicality and adaptability for use across media
• After pre-screening, the winning logo will be selected based on the following criteria:
  • Relevance to the theme (50 %)
    • Reflecting sustainable fisheries development in Southeast Asia
    • Conveying messages on progress, regional cooperation, and the 60-year milestone of SEAFDEC
  • Creativity and originality (25 %)
  • Aesthetic appeal and balance (25 %)

Terms and conditions

• The logo design should be an original work, not plagiarized, and do not infringe any copyrights.
• The sole intellectual property and copyright of the winning logo belongs to SEAFDEC. SEAFDEC reserves the right to use or modify the winning logo as deemed appropriate.
• All participants are deemed to accept the terms and conditions of the Logo Design Contest. SEAFDEC reserves the right not to award the prize if the submissions do not meet the judging criteria and terms and conditions. The decision of the judging committee is final.

Timeline

• Entries should be submitted from now until 20 October 2025
• The winning logo will be announced on 20 November 2025 via SEAFDEC website and social media. The winner will be informed through email.

Submission

• Submit the logo design through Google Form (https://forms.gle/xeDmZ59hNToktdTz7) and include the following
  • Participant’s name, address, telephone number, email
  • Description of the logo design
  • Logo design in digital vector format (e.g. EPS, AI, or CDR
